Summer Pour: Milfoil, Maine is a collaborative sculptural and performative paper project by Patricia Brace and Milcah Bassel that transforms invasive milfoil from Maine’s lakes into handmade, sculptural paper forms. Blending environmental intervention with material experimentation, the project explores the physicality of papermaking as both a sculptural and performative act. Through live processes, workshops, and installations, Summer Pour examines labor, ecological transformation, and the artistic potential of invasive species while fostering dialogue on conservation and sustainability.
